Hundreds of emergency health care professionals, pilots and aviation engineers will be trained in Bundaberg each year thanks to a $15 million investment from the Federal Government. The investment will be used to build a new Royal Flying Doctor Service Aeromedical Training Centre.
It is envisioned the facility will be a CASA certified flight simulator, andwill host professional development and competency certification for health staff, pilots, and engineers working with the RFDS and others.
The $15 million in funding from the Federal Government has been committed under the Hinkler Regional Deal.
